Some "maybe" Useful Info....

1. 3-4 years back this was one of the most wanted applications for a ubuntu system, "Alien" is a software tool which can convert an .rpm to a .deb package and vice versa. But currently ubuntu has become very rich with its centralized repositories that this software has lost its charm...but not the least i find many server applications and many more softwares still available only in Rpms or in Srcs but not in debs..so still Alien has some work to do.
